Today was my first day back at the studio for my singing lesson with Alycon and I thought I would give you some feedback.  Basically, just to say THANK YOU to the team for creating what felt like a very safe environment. In our new world I wait to be guided as to processes when I attend somewhere new. I have been quite isolated during lockdown and very careful not to meet others and I have had to think twice before emerging into our new world.  I was pleased to see the track and trace sign in and was impressed with the what looked very sturdy (I didn't touch it to check!) booth for me to stand in.  After 6 months on zoom it was a pleasant relief to be able to hear the piano properly at last. It is good to be back to what is the new normal.

Thanks very much for the getting the studios ready. It was great to be back face to face and hear live music rather than the strange whines you get online. Let's be honest we are in the lap of the gods as to whether the virus is passed on at the centres. However, it is certainly as safe as any other environment I've been in since lockdown.

I would just like to firstly begin by sharing with you how much I am enjoying my lessons with NWMTC and Jack my tutor.  I am continuing to improve week by week.  My tutor is a very technical singer and is sharing so many fantastic vocal exercises which are strengthening my voice, He is very supportive and honest, and I feel very relaxed with him during the lessons.  For this reason I feel he deserves a lot of credit as a vocal teacher.

So just come back from seeing Tina tonight with Joel for a Taster lesson at the NWMTC Centre and I have to say Tina is so lovely!  Joel was a little nervous about going but absolutely loved it. We are lucky to have a friend who has a saxophone so Joel is going to practice the things Tina showed him and if in a week or 2 he is still wanting to go ahead with it I will book in for the 4 Trial lessons. Just want to make sure it's something he really wants to do. But I'm sure it will be a yes. He is very excited to get started. Thank you all at NWMTC very much for your help.

Ifan has really enjoyed his 4 week trial of drumming lessons with NWMTC and Mark his tutor. He is eager to continue and definitely wants to continue drumming. The 4 trial lessons have been a fabulous opportunity to see if he enjoyed it. (He has been asking for lessons for the last year or so!).

Sophia finished Piano lessons in July as she has gone to Bangor College this year and her schedule is just so busy she can’t commit. But I do have to say that her tutor Scott was an excellent teacher, and she is hoping to come back next year if everything settles down. Also, Williams last drum lesson will be in a fortnight as he can’t do Saturdays due to having a little part time job. William has been with his tutor Alan for 4 years, and has absolutely LOVED every minute.  I can’t recommend North Wales Music Tuition Centres enough, and hope that I will be in touch soon to continue the lessons, but for now, I wish you all the very best.

After a very enjoyable and successful time with NWMTC and her tutor Diana, Elizabeth has decided to concentrate on her School work. Elizabeth built a great relationship with Diana and successfully achieved Grade 8 Distinction Music Theatre as a result of Diana’s support. Thank you for the opportunity given to Elizabeth to perform at your concerts and we wish NWMTC and the staff every success.

I would like to inform you that Elsie has loved her drum lessons with NWMTC so far and, as much as she would love to continue, unfortunately we will have to terminate the contract at the end of this month.  My husband will start a new job out in the USA so will be moving next month which is why we are unable to continue.   I would like to thank you all at NWMTC and especially Mike the drum tutor who has been a very good and positive teacher for Elsie, keeping her enthusiastic and keen to learn. She will be sad to finish but I'm sure she will continue with lessons over in the States. Thanks once again.

It's with much sadness after about 13 years with both my girls going to the NWMTC Rhuddlan Centre that my youngest Bethan will be leaving after this quarter into the big world of musical theatre. She is off to try and find work. However after her Diploma exam if she's around for a bit can you bear her in mind if you need a young teacher as she will be looking for a job. I would like to thank you all at NWMTC for everything you have done for them over the years and the confidence you have given them. And also to thank Pat Cranville for putting up with Bethan all this time. Also - many thanks for everything Brenda. You do a fantastic job.
