London College of Music, Trinity/Guildhall, and Trinity Rock & Pop examinations can be taken on our own premises at Colwyn Bay, Queensferry and Wrexham as these three NWMTC Centres have been officially appointed by the relevant colleges as public examination centres and are registered on college websites and syllabuses. This is a huge advantage for our own candidates as they can take their exams in familiar surroundings.
We are proud to be affiliated with these prestigious Examining Boards which have Ofqual accreditation and the power to award UCAS points.
ABRSM, RGT and other exam boards are also available (on request) to our students but must be taken at the revelant public examination centre.
Our Tutors are hand-picked for their qualifications, experience, enthusiasm and friendliness. They are all passionate about music whether performing or teaching their respective instruments and all wish to inspire and encourage each student; whether a new beginner or an advanced student wanting to gain further acclaim. We take the security of our pupils very seriously and as such, we have a stringent Child Safety policy in operation reviewed regularly by our Board of Trustees. All tutors must provide evidence of having taken a CRB/DBS check before commencing work for the Charity.
We have a highly motivated, caring and friendly administration team who will do their very best to accommodate your needs and requirements.
Each of our Centre Studios is equipped with either a Baby-Grand; upright or exam-approved digital piano and furnished with quality equipment for the comfort of both teacher and student alike,
All centres have security systems installed, substantial waiting areas and washroom facilities for the comfort and safety of our members and students.
